Welcome to NailsByE! These terms keep things clear and fair for both of us. By placing an order on www.nailsbye.org, you agree to them. NailsByE is a small, independent business — every set is handmade to order by one person, and these terms reflect that.

1. Who can order

Anyone can browse. To place an order you must be at least 18, or have a parent or legal guardian place the order (or give their permission and supervise it) if you are under 18. The email address on an order must belong to someone authorized to approve the purchase — order confirmation happens through that email.

2. How ordering works

Placing an order (ready-made or custom) is a request, not a completed purchase. You'll get an email with a confirmation link — the order isn't started until you click it.
For custom sets, the listed prices don't apply; the final price is quoted after Elin reviews your request. You'll see it on your order status page and in the payment email before you pay anything.
Payment is collected only when your set is finished and ready to ship, via Venmo or Zelle. Your set ships after payment is received. If payment isn't received within 14 days of the payment request, the order may be cancelled.
You can cancel any time before payment by replying to any order email.

3. Custom work

Custom sets are hand-painted interpretations of your inspiration photos, not factory reproductions. Small variations in color, spacing, and detail are part of what makes a handmade set yours. If something is genuinely off from what was agreed, reach out within 7 days of delivery and Elin will make it right (see Shipping & Returns).

4. Sizing

Sizing is based on the photos you provide at checkout (four photos of your hands next to a quarter). Accurate photos make accurate nails. If sizes come out wrong because the photos were unclear, Elin will work with you on a resize — but repeated remakes for photo issues may carry a materials fee.

5. Safe use of press-on nails

Nail glue and adhesive tabs can cause skin irritation. Do a small patch test if you've never used nail adhesive, and stop using it if irritation occurs.
Press-on nails are not a toy and are a choking hazard for small children.
Follow the application and removal tips included with your set — prying nails off can damage your natural nail.

6. Intellectual property

Photos of finished sets (including sets made from your inspiration pictures) may be shared on the NailsByE website and social media. Your name and personal details are never shared without permission. If you'd prefer your set not be posted, just say so in your order notes.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NailsByE's total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. NailsByE is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for reactions to adhesives you supply yourself.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the business grows. The date at the top always shows the latest version, and material changes will be noted on this page.
